Our Department has well qualified and experienced faculty. Excellent computing facilities are available in the Department. The Department of Computer Science has a wide range of computing resources and laboratories available to support its educational and research missions. In addition to over 200 Core i3 PCs, the department has an IBM Blade server to configure a number of high-end shared-memory multiprocessor compute servers and file servers. The CSE Department Labs are facilitated with the state-of-art equipment like IBM Blade Server and latest application software including IBM Rational Suite, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, Oracle and also the designing software's like Adobe Photoshop.

The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established during the inception of the institute in 2009 with an annual intake of 60 students. In the academic year 2010-2011, the intake capacity rose to 120. The department has a faculty-student ratio of 1:15 as per AICTE norms. The average teaching experience is more than 5 years. So far around 500 students have graduated.
The department also offers one post-graduate program in Digital Electronics and Communication Systems (DECS) with an intake of 21 in each specialization. The major goal of the department of ECE is to produce highly knowledgeable, competent and resourceful young engineers who can perform well in a wide variety of job profiles. To achieve this goal the department is putting dedicated efforts in nurturing a strong foundation both in analytical and technological aspects laid down in the curriculum. It also provides ample opportunities for students to work on mini-projects, develop communication skills, explore internship opportunities in industry and take part in national and international design contests.
The laboratory practical classes are conducted in a systematic manner, where the complete plan is given at the time of commencement of the semester. The laboratories are well equipped with modern training facilities that cater to the requirements of the university syllabus. This department plays a vital role in training students of other branches of engineering too.
The department also encourages students to take up Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers (GATE), Graduate Record Examination (GRE) during their final year so they can pursue their higher education either in India or countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia etc. The department has an active ECE students’ forum where students learn to do projects and organize technical events like symposiums, paper presentations to inculcate a broader perceptive on the profession. These efforts have culminated in the form of placements in various leading industries and organizations.

The field of electrical engineering is the key factor in infrastructural development with the changing scenario that includes deregulation and the treatment of electrical energy as a commodity. The way we work and live is rapidly changing. The future requires highly motivated trained and intellectual manpower capable of handling the situation on a global platform. Electricity has reflected its importance at all level of developments in India and the world. Electrical engineering forms one of the core branches of engineering study. The electrical department offers a 4-year degree course at the undergraduate level. The department is manned by senior and expert faculty members in their own areas of specialization. The faculty members have been continuously associated with research work and have published a fairly good number of research papers in International and National Conferences and journals. The department has facilities for project and research work. The department is expecting research projects from some reputed research funding agencies of the country.
The department of Civil Engineering established in the year 2009 with an intake of 60. PG programme is started in 2014 with an intake of 24; the primary objective of the department is to impart quality education, training and research at the undergraduate and postgraduate in areas of Structural Engineering with a broad emphasis on design aspects of road and buildings. The Department presently offers UG Programme B.Tech with an intake of 60 and a PG programme Structural Engineering with an intake of 24.

This 4 year undergraduate course of Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning is designed to make the professional technically sound in advanced learning systems that are based on algorithm of Artificial Intelligence.
NVRCET offers a four-year under-graduate B.Tech course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning which aims to develop a strong foundation by using the principles and technologies that consist of many facets of Artificial Intelligence including logic, knowledge representation, probabilistic models, and machine learning. This course is best suited for students seeking to build world-class expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and emerging technologies which help to stand in the crowd and grow careers in the upcoming technological era.
The course is designed to give the students enough exposure to the variety of applications that can be built using techniques covered under this program. They shall be able to apply AI/ML methods, techniques and tools to the applications. The students shall explore the practical components of developing AI apps and platforms. Proficiency in mathematics will thrive, as this degree requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills. They shall be able to acquire the ability to design intelligent solutions for various business problems in a variety of domains and business applications. The students shall be exploring fields such as neural networks, natural language processing, robotics, deep learning, and computer vision, reasoning and problem-solving. The key objective is to identify logic and reasoning methods from a computational perspective, learn about agent, search, probabilistic models, perception and cognition, and machine learning.
The major goal of this course is to impart knowledge on techniques and theories related to data science which includes statistics, data mining, data warehousing and data visualization.
NVRCET offers a four-year under-graduate B.Tech course in Data Science. Data Science continues to evolve as one of the most promising and in-demand career paths. As the world entered the era of big data, handling it was the main challenge and concern for the enterprise industries until 2010. Unlike data in the traditional systems which was mostly structured, today most of the data is unstructured or semi-structured. A Data Scientist, according to Harvard Business Review, “is a high-ranking professional with the training and curiosity to make discoveries in the world of Big Data”. Therefore it comes as no surprise that Data Scientists are coveted professionals in the Data Analytics and IT industry. With experts predicting that 40 zettabytes of data will be in existence by 2020, Data Science career opportunities will only shoot through the roof! Shortage of skilled professionals in a world which is increasingly turning to data for decision making has also led to the huge demand for Data Scientists in start-ups as well as well-established companies. More than 50,000 jobs in the Data Science and Machine Learning are lying vacant in India, for lack of skilled professionals.
